Institute of Governance and Social Research (IGSR)
IGSR is a non-profit, non-governmental research-oriented institute established to promote research on socio-political and economic problems of Africa in general, and of Nigeria, more specifically. Members of the IGSR include people from the academics, public and private sectors and practitioners in various fields of endeavour who are concerned about the sociopolitical and economic problems of Africa.
The Institute was founded in 1994 with its headquarters located in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.
